In an emergency, every minute counts in providing the best care. At Humboldt General Hospital's Emergency Department, this not only means quality medical care, it also means personalized attention to our patients' and families emotional needs.
Our emergency room staff sets high standards for caring for you, and we take pride in meeting and exceeding these standards. Our staff is well-prepared to meet the demands of the emergency room.
After a month-long renovation from July to August 2011, our new and improved ER includes a more private check-in area as well as curtained glass sliding doors on rooms in order to heighten patient privacy. The nurses' station also has been moved and remodeled in order to allow for better patient monitoring and a more commodious and efficient work environment.
The Emergency Department also now connects to the new physician clinics as well as the hospital's administrative offices through its own enclosed lobby. This much-improved emergency waiting area will serve our community well into the future.
As always, the Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. |
