The Humboldt Hospital Auxiliary is a great source of support to Humboldt General Hospital. The “pink ladies,” as volunteers are called, operate the “Poke ‘n’ Peek Thrift Store as well as provide volunteer help throhughout the hospital and in Harmony Manor, Humboldt General’s skilled nursing facility. Through the Auxiliary’s efforts, the hospital has been able to purchase over one million dollars of much-needed medical equipment. The Auxiliary is always on the lookout for more members as well as donations of gently used clothing and housewares. Monetary donations are also greatly appreciated.
