The Obstetrics Department is by far the happiest place in the hospital. Humboldt General has two birthing rooms and four postpartum rooms, state-of-the-art equipment, 24-hour operating rooms for emergency cesareans, a level one nursery with air transport to the region’s finest medical centers just a phone call away and a team of outstanding local physicians and nurses. Childbirth education classes and follow-up care are important to helping new families start off right. By providing thoughtful, personal care, we make each birth experience a memorable one.
