HGH Childbirth Education Instructor Becky Egbert

Childbirth Education

Humboldt General Hospital hosts a childbirth education course designed to help mothers-to-be achieve the kind of birth they desire. Women in their fifth to eighth month of pregnancy are encouraged to attend. Childbirth education instructor Becky Egbert will lead the discussion. Please call to pre-register at (775) 623-5222, ext. 142.Cost is $35 for those who deliver at HGH and $45 for all others. Payment is due at the beginning of the class day.

Important Information

  • Each class is held on a Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in one of the hospital's conference rooms.
  • Snacks and lunch are provided by Humboldt General Hospital.
  • Participants are encouraged to bring two pillows and wear comfortable clothing.
  • Husbands/coaches/partners are welcome and encouraged to attend.
  • There will be an overview of breastfeeding at the end of the each childbirth class for those who are interested.
