Considering the remoteness of Winnemucca’s location and its size when compared with other much larger institutions, HGH’s surgical facilities are impressive—to say the least. Our surgical team can perform a wide range of surgical procedures, from vascular, abdominal, cataract and some thoracic, chest and plastic surgeries to fiber-optic scoping, diagnostic testing and podiatry. In addition, other specialty surgeons come to the facility to perform outpatient procedures in gynecology, ear, nose and throat, orthopedics, podiatry, ophthalmology and gastroenterology.
