Welcome to the new face of Humboldt General Hospital. We are excited to expand our community home for health and wellness, and we invite you to watch us grow.

Our 35,000-square-foot expansion will see the addition of a medical office building to the front of the existing hospital structure as well as a smaller expansion of some departments including radiology, admitting, receiving, the business office, medical records, administration and emergency.

In all, eight medical office suites will be added to the new first- and second-story space that will offer a central reception and scheduling area.

Additionally, the medical office of Dr. Shouping Li will be transformed into conference and training rooms, while the medical office building located at the corner of Haskell and Mizpah streets will host visiting physicians.

The new space will feature beautiful windows, lots of natural light and, best of all, an abundance of space for our physicians-both current and those we hope to recruit in the near future. Perhaps the best news is that the corner medical office space will be a brand new walk-in clinic. Patients will be able to simply drop in-no appointment necessary. You've told us that's what you want, and we are listening.
