Remember, The Walk-In Clinic is open after school. All ages are welcome for minor ailments such as cough/colds, flu symptoms, sore throats, earaches and ear infections, allergies, rashes, urinary tract infections, minor eye irritations and injuries and sports injuries. Hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Karen Wright, M.D.
Karen Wright, a family practice physician based in Elko, travels to Winnemucca several days each week to see patients at Humboldt General Hospital's Walk-In Clinic.

Sandra Deveny, APN-C
Sandra Deveny graduated from California State University, Dominguez Hills, with a bachelor of science in nursing. She earned her Women's Health Care Nurse Practitioner from the University of Texas Dallas, Southwestern Medical College. That was followed by a master of science in nursing from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, and a post masters Family Nurse Practitioner from The George Washington University in Washington DC. Sandra is a longtime resident of Humboldt County and worked as this area's State of Nevada Community Health Nurse. For the past three years she has commuted to Battle Mountain to work in that community's Rural Health Clinic. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband Dan and her mini-pinscher Sonny. She also enjoys hiking, camping, viewing wildlife, gardening and being outdoors in Nevada's high desert.

Lisa Jonkey, FNP-BC
Lisa Jonkey is thrilled at the opportunity to return to Winnemucca, her hometown. Jonkey graduated with her bachelor of science in nursing degree from the Chamberlain College of Nursing. She then earned her master of science of nursing from the University of Nevada Reno. She has practiced in many areas throughout her nursing career including emergency care, dermatology and finally neurology, as one of only two stroke nurses at the Renown Institute of Neurosciences. Jonkey also served as a flight medic for the Army National Guard in Stead, Nevada for nearly three years. She is married to Major Matt Jonkey, a helicopter pilot with the Nevada Army National Guard, and a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom. The couple has two daughters: Emma, 7, and Haley 5. Both are students at the Winnemucca Grammar School. In her spare time, Jonkey enjoys hiking, riding her Razor 4 with her family and attending movies.

Ladonna Reyka, FNP-C
Ladonna Reyka graduated with her bachelor of science in nursing from Middle Tennessee State University. Following, she graduated with honors from Austin Peay State University with a master of science in nursing degree. Although Reyka's training covers the full spectrum of family care, she has 22 years nursing experience in pediatrics, bringing over five years' experience from Scottish-Rite Children's Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, and 10 years' experience from Vanderbilt University Medical Center Children's Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. Reyka and her husband, Mark, are the parents of two children, ages 19 and 21. The family also loves (and spoils) their Shi-Tsu, Lola. In her spare time, Reyka likes to be involved in church as well as any outside activities. She also loves to sing and do mission work with her church and the medical community.
